The price of tolls will also be influenced by the countries you pass through on the way to your destination. You can also save a lot of money if you find out the specific toll charges in each state in advance.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background\"><strong>These prices are valid for regular passenger cars up to 3.5 t, without trailer, at normal height<\/strong>. These may be indicative conversions from other currencies for a quick estimate of the approximate price. A <strong>vignette<\/strong> is valid for <strong>10 days, 1 month<\/strong> or <strong>1 year<\/strong> from the date of purchase. This is provided by CzechToll, a PPF company, and you register at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mytocz.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.mytocz.eu.<\/a><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Slovak vignette<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In Slovakia, as in the Czech Republic, you can buy an electronic vignette. You can buy it online at eznamka.sk. <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/dalnicniznamka.info\/en\/?p=926\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Slovak vignette<\/a>\n<\/strong> is valid:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>10 days <\/strong>= 10 EUR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 month<\/strong> = 14 EUR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 year<\/strong> = 50 EUR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-2 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-75 has-custom-font-size aligncenter is-style-outline has-medium-font-size\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/eznamka.sk\/selfcare\/purchase\" style=\"border-radius:5px;color:#82b81a;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Buy Slovak vignette<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Austrian vignette and tunnel tolls<\/h2>\n\n<p>Austria has a slightly more complicated system in that you pay a <a href=\"https:\/\/dalnicniznamka.info\/en\/?p=999\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vignette<\/a> on most motorways, but you also pay a toll when you pass through certain sections (usually tunnels). You can choose whether to buy a sticker vignette at a petrol station near the border or in Austria, or buy your vignette online.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>ATTENTION!<\/strong>  The online vignette for consumers does not start until 18. the day after purchase. For entrepreneurs, it will apply immediately. You can buy <a href=\"https:\/\/dalnicniznamka.info\/dalnicni-znamka-slovinsko\/\">vignettes for Slovenia<\/a> online as <strong>e-vignettes<\/strong>, just like here. For cars up to 3.5 tonnes, the electronic vignette for Slovenia is available for <strong>one week, one month or one year<\/strong>. Note the division between <strong>low cars (passenger cars) and high cars (light vans, motorhomes) up to 3.5 t<\/strong>. Current prices for a regular passenger car:  <\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>7 days<\/strong> = 16 EUR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 month<\/strong> = 32 EUR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 year<\/strong> = 117,5 EUR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>For vehicles <strong>over 3.5 tonnes<\/strong>, tolls in Slovenia are handled by the <strong>DarsGo on-board unit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-4 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-75 has-custom-font-size aligncenter is-style-outline has-medium-font-size\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/evinjeta.dars.si\/cs\" style=\"border-radius:5px;color:#f68a1e;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Buy Slovenian vignette<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toll in Poland<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Polish motorways are<\/strong>marked<strong> with the letter A<\/strong> and have a maximum speed limit <strong>of 140 km\/h<\/strong>. You can pay tolls <a href=\"https:\/\/dalnicniznamka.info\/en\/?p=947\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in Poland<\/a> at toll gates. The good news is that <strong>only 3 sections of motorways are tolled for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A1 motorway<\/strong>: Rusocin-Nowa Wie\u015b<a href=\"https:\/\/a1.com.pl\/en\/home-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(A1 motorway toll calculator<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A2<\/strong>: \u015awiecko-Lodz<a href=\"https:\/\/www.autostrada-a2.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(A2 toll calculator<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A4 motorway<\/strong>: Wroclaw-Krakow<a href=\"https:\/\/www.autostrada-a4.com.pl\/en\/tolls\/toll-calculator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(toll calculator for A4 motorway<\/a>, tentatively the <strong>Katowice-Krakow<\/strong> section costs <strong>200 CZK<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Electronic payment<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Vehicles<\/strong> can <strong>pay tolls electronically<\/strong> using the <strong>e-TOLL PL<\/strong> app, also available on the App Store or Google Play, or <a href=\"https:\/\/etoll.gov.pl\/cz\/lehka-vozidla\/e-ticket\/e-ticket\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">via the web<\/a>. However, it is more worthwhile for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, which in turn applies not only on motorways but often also on expressways.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Pay at the toll gate<\/strong> &#8211; You can also simply pay at the toll gates directly for the kilometres driven. When you enter a toll section of the motorway, you take a ticket, which you insert back into the machine to pay when you leave the toll section. If you lose your ticket, you will pay the maximum amount. <strong>Payment here is possible in cash or by card, in zloty or in euros<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background\"><strong>Hungary<\/strong>: prices and options for buying <a href=\"https:\/\/dalnicniznamka.info\/en\/?p=881\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hungarian vignettes<\/a> here<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toll in Croatia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>You don&#8217;t need a vignette to drive on Croatian motorways; tolls are also available. All drivers of <strong>vehicles and motorcycles up to 3.5 tonnes<\/strong> and <strong>trucks over 3.5 tonnes<\/strong> pay the fees. The amount depends on the distance travelled and the category of vehicle.  <\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The approximate price for <a href=\"https:\/\/dalnicniznamka.info\/mytne-chorvatsko\/\">toll in Croatia<\/a> for a passenger vehicle is <strong>7 EUR per 100 Km<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In addition, most Croatian motorways are closed <strong>during the summer season<\/strong> from 15. June to 14. In September (or from 1 June to 30 September), motorway tolls <strong>will be increased by 10%<\/strong>. Croatia <strong>will switch to the euro<\/strong> in 2023. You can also use <strong>credit cards<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-5 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-width wp-block-button__width-75 has-custom-font-size aligncenter is-style-outline has-medium-font-size\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hac.hr\/en\/interactive-map\" style=\"border-radius:5px;color:#ee4035;padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Interactive map with toll calculation<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toll in Germany<\/h2>\n\n<p>In Germany, you can put your fee worries behind you. Although Germany&#8217;s motorways are a model for Europe in terms of density and quality, no tolls will affect ordinary cars. Tolls are collected only from vehicles weighing more than 7.5 tonnes.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The exception proves the rule and so there are two places where <strong>tolls are paid: the Warnow and Herren tunnels<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.herrentunnel.de\/index.php\/maut-tarife\/maut-tarife-2.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Passage through the Herren Tunnel<\/a> = approx. 2 EUR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.warnowquerung.de\/en\/prices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Passage through the Warnow Tunnel<\/a> = 4-5 EUR depending on the season<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toll gates in France<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>A <strong>toll gate<\/strong> system is used to pay for driving on French motorways; <strong>you pay the<\/strong> toll <strong>when you pass through it<\/strong>. Again, you take a ticket on entry and pay on exit. You can pay by cash or card.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The indicative price for <a href=\"https:\/\/dalnicniznamka.info\/mytne-francie\/\">tolls in France<\/a> is EUR<strong> 8 per 100 km<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>On some motorways in France, tolls can also be paid using an <strong>electronic app<\/strong> without the driver having to stop. Regular motorway users can use electronic <strong>Liber-t<\/strong> units.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tolls in Belgium<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In Belgium, there are <strong>no tolls<\/strong> on the motorway <strong>in a private car<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Only the <strong>Liefkenshoek<\/strong> tunnel has a charge of <strong>EUR 6<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The Belgian toll system is based <strong>on satellite technology <\/strong>and is managed by <strong>Satellic<\/strong> in all three Belgian regions &#8211; Wallonia, Brussels and Flanders. The obligation to pay tolls using a toll unit applies to goods vehicles <strong>over 3.5 tonnes<\/strong>. Buses do not have to pay tolls.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Toll gates in Italy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dalnicniznamka.info\/en\/?p=952\">In Italy, motorway tolls can<\/a> be paid either by <strong>credit card or fuel<\/strong> card, or <strong>in cash<\/strong> directly at the toll gates. Drivers of cars, trucks and motorcycles must pay tolls. In addition to motorways, Italy also charges tolls for driving through some tunnels.  <\/p>\n\n<p>When you arrive at the toll gate, be careful which lane you enter: some only take cash, some only take cards (and physical cards, not <strong>, for example, mobile phone payments<\/strong>), and some accept both. <strong>Avoid the yellow &#8220;T&#8221; gate lanes<\/strong> &#8211; they are just for regular users with an automated system.  <\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The amount of the fee varies on different roads, but <\/span><b>on average, it works out at EUR 8 per 100 km<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Regular motorway users in Italy can use the Viacard prepaid card and the <strong>Telepass<\/strong> on-board unit. But be careful on the motorway  <strong>Pedemontano Lombardo near Milan, where they use a free flow system to collect tolls.
